Abstract

A study of the impact that the Moorish expulsion and the later repopulation of the Kingdom of Granada had on the tribute. The starting point is an analysis of the fiscal system prior to the war, to approch, in minimun details, the fall of all revenues: royal, ecclesiastical, seignorial and municipal. It also approches the specific tribute of the colonization, the Renta de Población and the tax increase produced at the end of the century, which could endanger the same repopulation process.
