Abstract

Main research on the history of the Kingdom of Granada in XVIth and XVIIth centuries has been developped within the studies of the repopulation. This has marked methods and sources. The evaluation of this research is quiet good and its results must be the start point for new developments on the knowledge of Granadine social structure, the social reproduction processes, its continuity and change, before and after the repartimiento (Allotment). The author proposses some research lines and emphazises gender as an structural factor in the organization of social life.
