Abstract

The knowledge of the training and evolution of the patrimony of the church to regulate in the modern Granada offers us yet wide lagoons, oceanic, sometimes. In the case of the jerónima order this is evident. We do not intend here to fill those holes but only, to offer data, some provisional on the training and evolution of the goods of this jerónimo monastery of Granada. We approach ourselves thus knowledge of its original endowment, of real character, and we show ourselves to the successive changes in its patrimony derived from gifts, sometimes contractual, important as those of the Great Captain heirs, purchases and barters, routed to the training of an important patrimony, located, at this time of our investigations, basically in the north periphery of the city and in Sierra Nevada. We are conscious of it much that it remains us by making in the clarification of the patrimony of this monastery and this order, that had other monasteries in the Granada kingdom, but we understand that these news that here we present are the first step in that direction.
