A methodological aplication to urban demography: Padrones parroquiales in Granada

Abstract

To penetrate in a precise way through the reutilization of traditional sources, as the knowledge of determind aspects of urban demography, also subjects such as urbanism and on the other hand of the possible existing family model. To acheive this, we will centre on the knowledge of the events during the 17th and 18th centuries. Studying in depth, the incidence of the structure of the settling processes of populations, experienced in the city of Granada during that period therefore processing the knowledge of a momentum that becomes for the positive change of systhem, create by a century characterized regressively for its cyclical crises and to surmont then the strong adversities of the century until achieving insight into the late 18th century, with a period of open recuperation.
