Abstract

The relationship between Galicia and Andalucía during the Early Modem Age is very strong, but the study of this historical interchange has be made in demographical and economical terms. The aim of this article is to think about the cultural dimension of galicians’ seasonal migrations to the South. This article has been focussed on analysing the caracteristics and evolution of the relationship between two cultural worlds: the diferences in urban development, in the level of literacy, and the book’s market, and the diference in language —galician versus spanish—, are the terms of our discussion.
