Abstract

Thís article describes the main religious feast-days or days of atonement celebrated at St. Paul's Church in Granada during the 17th century. The aim is to provide new information about baroque feast-days and their ideological or doctrinal nature, on the one hand, and on the other to show how ali these activities served the purpose of propaganda, which provided religious institutions - in this case the Jesuits- with considerable profits.
