Abstract

An analysis of town planning and popular or traditional architecture in the Lower Cinca region of the province of Huesca revea1s the unsatisfactory condition in which this heritage finds itself at the present time, and thelack of attention paid to it by the authorities. The towns and villages of this area, through which most of the cultures which have made an impact on the lberian Península have passed, is an excellent area in which to examine the pressure which traditional structures are undergoing.
