Abstract

The journal Cuadernos de Arte de la Universidad de Granada has appeared in two periods: the fírst runs from 1936 to 1944 and the second from 1974 to the present day. In this paper we study the fírst period, when the fundamental characteristics of the journal were established. Its size, formal and layout are discussed, as well as its editorial policy and the frequency with which it appeared. We provide an analysis of the research work published and an index containing brief summaries of the contents of each volume published during this period is also included.
