Abstract

During most of the 16th century, after the recapture of the town by the Catholic Kings the Moorish structure of Granada underwent continuous change. This paper deals with reforms undertaken in the early years of the century, when everything remained to be done. We can see how the Town Council devoted ali its energies to reforming the main points of the city and to providing it with basic public services.
