Abstract

The present paper deals with the period of the end of the 191h and beginning of the 20'" centuries and proposes an analysis of a group of South American artists' workshops. Their profiles are described, the various elements of which they consisted are analysed and an account of the influence of this in the artistic production of these workshops is attempted. This overview will give us a new perspective from which to appreciate the various conceptual and technical presuppositions on which South American art in this period was based.
