Abstract

The San Miguel tower was built on one of the most controversia! comers of the plan of Granada cathedral, and its design consists in the superimposition of Renaissance ideas taken from Diego de Siloe and the Baroque elements of Alonso Cano. This makes it an interesting construction and its analysis can contribute to a better understanding of the cathedral in general and specifically of its extraordinary facade.
