Abstract

A study of rural areas of the province of Granada reveals a wide and enriching variety of religious elements, which are manifestations of the relations existing between local people and the supernatural. We discuss a rich range of architectural and sculptural works by means of which the religious aspee! of popular culture in Granada is portrayed in a fine manner.
