Abstract

Pedro Duque Cornejo (1678-1757) is a key figure to understanding the development of Southern Baroque during the first half of the eighteenth century. This paper presents a dozen of new attributed works dispersed througout Seville and its province, which increase his already large catalogue and support its versatility as a sculptor, painter and designer of altarpieces.
