Abstract

The part which art plays in fiction can be understood by considering art as a game. The fact that with time art has come to acquire the vitality of an idea means that it can as easily be identified as a character or a place as be imagined as possesing the mobility of a chess piece. Considering it in this light can be as simple as discovering it as the space in which a game is played. Both concepts are equally possible.
