Abstract

The authors discuss the factors which led to the collapse of the film industry in Almería in the first half of the 1970's. It had been especially lively and important, both for its quality and the amount of films produced, in the 1960's, as was shown in an earlier article in Cuadernos de Arte. The most important productions from 1970 to 1975 which used outdoor locations in the town and province of Almería are critically reviewed.
