Abstract

This is the second part of a paper published in the last issue of this journal, in which we describe the morphological features of the churches in the area of the Lecrin Valley, and offer a brief historical survey. From a structural point of view, almost all these churches belong to the Mudejar tradition, which was the general model followed in the resettlement during the first century of the re-establishing of Christianity. However, we also find churches with surprisingly classicist features, such as those of St. Sebastian de Pinos, or the Parish Church of Albuñuelas.
