Abstract

This paper studies the construction of a building at no. 2, López Moreno Street, in the town centre. We offer a stylistic analysis of the original plan drawn up and implemented by the military engineer Carcaño Más and
the later changes introduced by the architect Nieto. This analysis suggests the origin and the conclusion of a modernistic floral and volumetric style, which is not seen so clearly nor so organically in other instances.
