Abstract

Greek mythology has been transmitted by literature and its stories have suffered some variations until these days. Many film directors refer to the myths and have adapted them and made them visible to society. This is the case of Pandora, the first woman from the Greek Mythology, who represents the seductive body. She is the cause of men’s troubles and misfortunes. Different directors have been seduced by her and have recreated her beauty as well as the danger of her intemperance. This article analyzes Pandora’s character from the point of view of Albert Lewin, Paul Auster y G.W. Pabst.
