Abstract

Artisan women are one of the most unknown feminine sectors during the industrialization process. The lack of data about their lifes can be overcame, in a limited way at least, through some “life’s fragments” which light up their invisibility sporadically. Few tax, administrative and notary sources show that these artisan women were real agents in management and social change in their business as well as in the destiny of their lineages.
