Abstract

The consideration which this work about the past of women pursues to inquire into the
global causes that drove women, compelled in social and feminist struggles, to head movements
that answered against war and in favor of the preservation and legitimization of lif. To acquire
this we interrelate two exact cases of feminine antimilitary and anti-war groups, that aren't
always compelled with emblematic emancipation causes: The Spanish Civil War (1936-1939)
and the Gulf War (1991).
