Résumé

After the Bologna process and the progressive implementation of the EHEA (European Higher Education Area), new winds have arrived on campus. The Benelux is facing a number of common challenges to Europe, the most important of which is the need of implementing improvements in the quality of education according to the framework of the European convergence in higher education. Another major challenge is the adaptation of content and a better student orientation. Following the analysis discussed in this paper, ir could be argued that there are
some mismatches between teacher training and the role of music in the core curriculum.
