Abstract

This paper aims to identify ways that students in fourth of ESO given to communication in social networks via mobile. Ways that go beyond the numerous reports that have been made in our country about the variety of uses that make these students, their times and places communication frequency and the uses for age, sex, origin or type of device. The methodology for achieving that goal has been qualitative, namely has used the technique of focus groups, which allowed us to have knowledge of the speech of these young people, according to different discursive positions from discourse analysis. The results show the variety of positions adopted regarding the acquisition, consumption, relative to others, dependence and feelings channeled through this device.
