Abstract

Abstract: The muarada is the imitation of a poem’s meter. This phenomenon knows the most great development on the Hebrew strophic poem’s field. Traditionally has been afirmed liturgical muwashshat that imitate secular models take the meter and the melody, but omit the vernacular xarja because thier use is not appropiated for holy ritual. In fact, the payyetanim put the secular xarja in the sacred poem’s body, but translated into Hebrew and adapted to the new context.
