Orly Castel-Blum is one of the most famous novelists in Israel and belongs to a generation of writers emerging in the eighties and nineties. These writers are marked by the rise of post-modernist trend, both in America as in Europe or in Israel. The postmodernism appears as a reaction to modernism and affects all disciplines: philosophy, architecture, linguistics, literature, painting, cinema, etc.. This article focuses on aspects post-modernists in the narrative of the Israeli writer Orly Castel-Blum.
