The koranic school in Morocco maintains a symbolical role: the transmission of the Arabic and Islamic culture and values. This is an institution that is going through a proccess of transformation, and at the moment it is similar to a nursery school where the essential ideas of Islam and at the same time, other subjects are being taught.
