From the standpoint of Peace Research, this paper analyzes those terms from the Koran related to the conceptual domain of peace. The aim is to highlight the existence of peace-oriented experiences in the rising Islamic society, such as have been reflected in the Arabic language. In this way we attempt a contribution to the knowledge of the role of peace in Islam.Downloads
