Estelas funerarias de época almorávide aparecidas en Córdoba

Abstract

This text deals with the investigation about three tombstones from almoravide period which appeared in the excavations carried out between the years 1995 and 1996 in the Magdalena church from Córdoba. All of them were reused as material building in the baroque reform carried out in this church. The most important features about this discovering are the shortage of the Córdoba samples from the taifas and almoravides period and also their epigraphic strokes, being this even more important than the tombstones content.
