La esclavitud morisca en el Reino de Granada. El caso de la villa de Fiñana (1569-1582)
Keywords:
XVIth. century, Kingdom of Granada, SlaveryAbstract
Analyses the slavery of “morisco” people as a result of their revolt in 1568-1570 in the Kingdom of Granada, and in partcular the case of the small town, Fiñana, a rural zone specially punished during the war. Some fixings are made about the thesis defended in recent studies, specially about the continuity of this enslaved population in the Kingdom, the predominance of women among the population, and the importance of liberty contracts.Downloads
