Flujos culturales a través del estrecho: al-Andalus/España. El Magreb/Marruecos

Jews, Arabs, PeaceAbstract
The migratory movements from the North of Africa to Spain, and viceversa, are analysed following a historical perspective, from the Middle Ages up to the present. This paper shows the sociocultural relations that existed between the Arabic, Christian and Jewish communities. The authors conclude that this relationship, though sometimes problematic, was enriching for all parties involved, and advocate for historical studies that can serve as a tool for creating social models that can be valid for present and future problems.Downloads
