Abstract

The Maghrebian region named al-Habt, situated in the northwest of the Strait of Gibraltar, was one of the closely bound areas with al-Andalus during Middle Ages. Its seaside border conditions created a favourable atmosphere for the commercial, cultural, political, etc. contacts with foreign counterparts. This article, which is the second part of one previously published about the cities of Tetouan and Ceuta, focuses on the urban developments in other coastal habitats from al-Habt.
