Palestinian writer Sahar Jalifa’s literary work focuse on discrimination against women. In her novels different types of women can be distinguished: the educated one committed to women’s rights and national liberation, the housewife, the prostitute and the middle-age woman, widowed o divorced. She also raises diverse topics affecting women in Palestinian society: education, legal inequality, labour discrimination, generational differences, sexuality, gossips, honour, mistreatment and the collaboration with the enemy.Downloads
