Abstract

The evolution of morisco family Valle-Palacios of Guadix is analysed; descendants of the old secretary of Zagal, Abrahen Abenzeite, they collaborated from the conquest onwards until they eventually became integrated in the Castilian society and enjoyed a prosperous social and economic level.
