La idea de globalización en el discurso político árabe y su relación con el concepto de <i>tabaʿiyya</i>

Abstract

This article studies the concept of ‘globalization’ as it is embedded within Arab scholars and intellectuals, and its narrow connection with the idea of al-taba‘iyya (dependence). This link is showed on some added texts drown up by the Arab political speech. Identity, imperialism and the spread of triumphant Capitalism are other necessary elements to analyze the global phenomenon in the Arab World.
