Traces back Emmanuel Roblès’ intellectual relations with Spain and Spanish culture. Roblès was a brilliant prized writer and drama author in France, but he is presently not remembered in Algeria and practically ignored by Spanish public despite the fact that he was deeply interested in Spain and its culture and his many books connected Algeria’s past century history to that of Spain and its literature.
