Analyses the doctoral theses on Ibn al-Jaṭīb, a notable writer and politician, submitted to Spanish universities during the 20th century and up to the present. Biblio- graphic data are arranged by name of candidates and include title, institution, year and name of the director, as well as information on publication, if available. Content of the dis- sertations in relation to the works of Ibn al-Jaṭīb covered is reviewed, together with refer- ences and commentary on the group of theses as a whole and on the universities where they were submitted.
