Abstract

Focuses on the origin, development and outcomes of the educational policy of the French Residence in Morocco, within the framework of the so-called “Berber policy” based on acculturation and isolation of the Berber population under its protection, through the Franco-Berber civil and secular schools and in particular the Franco-Berber School in Azrou, unique in the French colonial empire.
