Abstract

Aims at a deepening in the controversial mystical side of the XIV century nasride scholar Lisān al-Dīn b. al-Jaṭīb through the analysis of the different testimonies on this subject included in the second part of his historical work Kitāb A´māl al-a´lām. An overview is offered as well of the sufí atmosphere in the nasride kingdom of Granada during the XIII and XIV centuries accounting for Ibn al-Jaṭīb’s mystical concerns throughout his entire life.
