There are a number of situations in real life when communication is performed with the help of texts without any explicit coherence means. They are called “primitive” texts which can be transformed into “normal” texts having explicit coherence means and usual volume. Integrity as a paradigmatic phenomenon defines the semantic structure of any text and it can be revealed by comparing the synonymous texts (periphrases). Integrity is the main feature of any text while coherence is the optional one.
