“Fantastic Realism” of Abram Tertz: modification, structure, genre synthesis

Abstract

The article is devoted to the gradation of forms of “fantastic realism”, which manifested itself in the eclecticism of genres, styles, behavioral strategies of the characters (heroes). This is the gradation from the falsely sentimental poetics to fatal predetermination of events in the spirit of the Gothic novel and frank black parodies, from the Easter Christmas story to the pamphlet.

Receptive nature of postmodernism irony and mystification of Tertz has been considered. Travesty, grotesque decrease of existential, high is being studied. Craziness as the main factor of “fantastic realism” evolution has been considered.
