The Image of Woman in Morphological and Lexical-syntactic Derivatives (Example of Lexicographical Sources in Russian and Spanish)

The dynamic of the image of woman is analyzed by example of morphological and lexical-syntactic derivatives and their lexical meanings, registered in the dictionaries of Russian and Spanish languages of the XVII–XXI centuries. The objective of the article is to find similarities and discrepancies in the perception of the feminine image by contrasting lexicographic data from the perspective of diachronic dynamics to reveal national specificity in the linguistic world view of each language. The study has been carried out from the perspective of the comparative — contrastive approach, which is why the main methods of analysis were: semantic, derivative and quantitative taking into account the different formative possibilities of each language, determined by its linguistic structure in general, the richness of morphological means and the development of the lexical system.Downloads
