About Linguocultural Originality of Phrasemics of Russian Insular Dialects of Odessa Region

Resumen

In this article phrasemics of Russian insular dialects as a unique language and cultural layer, formation and functioning of which is largely determined by a long stay of Russian dialects’ speakers in a multilingual and multicultural environment is analyzed. The purpose of the study is to determine linguocultural originality of phrasemics of the Russian insular dialects of Odessa region of Ukraine. Based on the leading position of the linguoculturological school of V. M. Telia about cultural conditioning of phraseologisms, the author comes to conclusion, that the linguocultural originality of phrasemics of the Russian dialects of Odessa region is determined by typological peculiarities of the southern Russian mother dialects, multicultural and multilingual contacts, but also by geographical, landscape and other features of the area in which the dialects speakers live, their religious and cultural traditions, acquired historical experience. Despite a long stay surrounded by different languages and cultures, the phrasemics of the Russian dialects of Odessa region preserved original features of the southern Russian mother dialects, which manifest themselves in a harmonious combination of internal and external structure. Phrasemics of the Russian dialects of Odessa region is distinguished by a transparent internal form and euphony. The speech of Russian settles is characterized by a high degree phraseological “saturation”.
