Abstract

This article offers an out to date vision of the most representative guidelines of Colonial American History. The study focus in five research areas, they all renovation examples of last twenty-five years: elites and groups of power, culture and daily life, woman and gender, biography and new materials for building the history. It also presents a balance of each one and their mainly contributions.
