Abstract

This paper analyses the information provided by new documentary evidence on royal buildings building work undertaken by the Catholic Kings in Granada. The accounts of the Senior Chaplain include payments made to the architect Enrique E gas from 1506 to 1513. This information also sheds light on the method of financing used and the construction methods employed, as well as on the masons and artisans who took part in them.
