Abstract

The book "Performance en el museo / El museo como performance" edited by Iñaki Estella and Daniel Lesmes, both historians and professors of Art History at the Complutense University of Madrid, offers a necessary exploration of the interaction and symbiosis between performance art and museum spaces through the compilation of six brilliant contributions by the authors:  Lynda Avendaño, Fernando Baena, Hernar Rivière and José Antonio Sánchez with a preamble by Matteo Mancini, these six essays presented here are a look at the phenomenon of performance in its introduction to the museum.
