Text of variable form and length, although of a minimum of 2,500 words, including a mandatory Introduction or Foreword that presents the issue and the type of content being communicated. The following can fit into this Praxis modality :

  • Testimonials about personal or group professional trajectories.
  •  
  • Communications of professional innovation experiences.
  •  
  • Elements of professional autobiography.
  •  
  • Transcription of debates between professionals.
  •  
  • Interviews with social workers and other professions of social action-intervention or similar
  •  
  • Interviews with users of social work services or community leaders
  •  
  • Transcripts from community forums or focus groups
  •  
  • Reports-synthesis of colloquiums or seminars.
  •  
  • Memorandum of relevant professional actions.
  •  
  • Synthesis of an innovative Social Action project or programme
  •  
  • Etc, etc.

In any of these cases, the proposals that reach the journal will be periodically evaluated by the Praxis Editing Subcommittee, which will accept or reject each proposal depending on whether it meets minimum formal requirements [See Rules for authors] and agrees with the objectives of this journal and is worthy of interest in the development of social work practice.

The Praxis editing team will have external collaborators for this task of evaluating text proposals. The Praxis Subcommittee will advise and monitor authors of those texts of interest that require significant modifications for their admission to the editing and publication process.
