This article was structured apos to participação no seminar "The challenge of research from professional practice: a reflection from the implementation of the degree in Social Work", in February 2012, the Faculty of Social Work at the University of Granada. On occasion, we present our contribution to bringing the debate, the structure and organization of vocational training of Social Workers, School of Social Service of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora - Brazil, emphasizing the importance of investigative practice this process as a means of effecting correlation between theory and practice in professional practice, the central theme of this article.
