Abstract

This work focuses on the need of social intervention at Andalucia Primary Health Care Centers in cases of drug addict pregnant. The current situation of drug addict pregnants women in Spain and, specifically, in Andalucia, has been studied and analysed through a systematic bibliographic review. The aim of this project is to contribute to lay the foundations for the creation and development of socio-sanitary action protocols. The mentioned action protocols are intented for professionals in the field of primary health care. In addition, it may be concluded that it is necessary to establish a particular action protocol intented for women with drug dependence problems, and also uphold the role of the social worker in Primary Health Care Centers from Spain and Andalucia.
