Abstract
When Moseh Hayyim Luzzatto wrote his allegorical drama La-yĕšarim tehillah, takes up the tradition of the Christian auto and while conserving its structure he fills it, so to speak, with quite a different theology, that's why the dramatis personae don't fill the role of the traditional allegorical protagonist: the only character who is really alive is the antagonist, paradoxically, deserves rather to be called the protagonist. But this ambiguous classification (antagonist/protagonist) is inadmissible from the literary point of view.
