Abstract

This paper presents the recently published manuscript 4QJudg  and call, attention to its contribution to the textual and redactional history of the book of Judges. 4QJudg ignores a whole literary unit, generally considered to be a later insertion (Judges 6:7-10). 4QJudg agrees twice with the Old Greek preserved by the proto-lucianic text (g - l - n). Specially important is a case of agreement with a reading attested only by the Old Latin version.
