For a History of the Jews in Huete (Cuenca, Spain). Facts and Documents

Abstract

Taking as the basis the information of 20 documents, it's a question of reconstruction -including other fragmentary informations- diverse aspects about the scene of Huete's jewry (Cuenca), which has hardly been kept up sources, in the late XIVth century. The date of this information  -1400, last year of this century- makes it more valuable as it's not so far from the pogrom that it suffered in 1391.
